Poor, but happy
This is a “don’t forget” posting. It’s a yellow post-it on the fridge. It says: Be happy with what you have, stop whining about what you don’t have..
These are pictures i have taken during a humanitarian action of bringing Santa to one of the most distant and poor villages in the region, about two hours drive from my home town, over several hills and forests. This action has been carried out by the FSC foundation (Community Support Foundation, in English).
These people are literally out-of-this-world, with veeeeery little connection to the cities around them. It’s a collection of images gathered from an old blog of mine that (possibly) nobody remembers.
PS: yeah, I know they’re both B&W and colour pics…
peace,

missing…
…something? sometimes I feel like this, not knowing what exactly am I missing. This could be a real problem. These two people are those who let me know I’m HERE. And everytime I feel bad for not knowing where I am, they are the ones who welcome me back… They’re like two guardian angels, only I don’t know that every second, like I should. This could be my saying sorry to myself and to them… I miss them every second, even when they’re by my side.
Love you!
This blog post should be a heads-up for a more personal/open approach to you through photography, cause it’s getting more and more to me. I start “seeing” my feelings in images around me. The Photoshop inside my head spins like crazy and delivers cinematic images. Could be great training and you should definitely see this…

2010, here I come!
First of all let me say that 2009 may just have been the worst year of my life. Even though, it kicked me into this beautiful bussiness. Therefore I am grateful for this opportunity and I am starting this blogging-year kinda optimistic.
2010 starts under good auspices.
www.romescu.ro is LIVE! Thanks to my lovely wife, that is. Tomorrow, the 5-th of March, the Wedding Fair in Bacau starts. Melania, owner of DaisySara party-starters, invited me to show off a bit of romescu along with her and Lucian Muset, at this fair. These are the main two great signs for a better 2010.
I was in Iasi at the end of January, shooting the wedding of Leonard and Diana. I did not expect them to be so charismatic and full of life. The love they have for each other filled the room with warmth and good vibes. They organised everything, they did all the hard work and still they managed to feel good and feel the real moments of that day.
Ramona si Ionut
The two happy happy people in this post here are a those who took everything in their hands, managing their day to the max. With the professional assistance of Melania&Co., they kick-started their life as a duo with a great party.
It’s been a day and a night full of joy of life.

Tudor & Anca
Ooook… Eversince I downloaded these images into my computer I keep thinking what could I say about the gentelman and his lady… I still lack inspiration, so I’ll be concise…:)
How should I explain it, it’s been such a great party, such a gorgeous DAY, that I couldn’t stop uploadin files onto this post. Well, I had to stop at some point..:) They’re a great gang of friends, team-mates, brothers, mothers, fathers, all gathered to celebrate Anca&Tudor.
This was the first day of the rest of their life.
Alessia Maria
If my wife and I had a girl, Alessia-Maria would have been her name. Yet, we have a boy, David-Michael.
Lots of people were very happy when she came into our world. And such a joy we shared that we threw a huge big-mommas-party!!!
Gabi & Dana
Gabi&Dana-wedding day!
A couple of blogposts before you will find a foreword mini-photo-session with these two newlyweds. You cannot find anywhere a gang of real friends and party kickers like these two people have! All with a great heart, but also willing to leave their hearts on the dancefloor, too… Gabi and Dana, two very quiet people, but bring in the gang and the party starts with a boom!
Simona & Catalin
Every photog friend of mine kept telling me that the bride and groom’s happiness and joy were to be of a tremendous help in creating their wedding day’s photo story. Simona and Catalin confirmed all these “rumors”. As tired as one can feel at 3 or 4 in the morning, fantastic moments emerged out of nowhere, not allowing me to let them pass by, without capturing them… As short as I thought the photo session was, those were the 10/15 minutes when these people gave me some of their optimism and joy to photograph. And as tired as they were, they were still able to smile and party with everybody till morning (well, the party gang that were on call there had something to say…:)) The restaurant was beautifully set up like few I’ve seen before, Melania being at her best in choosing the fabrics and colors.
I give you a party between friends!
